Weland spiral staircases consist of four main components, railings, handrail, stair treads and landings. All components are available in many different versions to suit your particular environment. Thanks to the small bottom area, the spiral staircase, as a rule, saves space and can be adjusted to your circumstances. Thanks to a simple design, it is also easy to assemble. Thanks to a large number of stock components, we can guarantee short delivery times.
Weland has a wide range of railings for spiral staircases. The choice of railing depends primarily on where the staircase will be placed and whether children will be present in the area where the spiral staircase is installed.
Most suitable for industrial purposes but may also be used for evacuation staircases, where there are no children present.

Normally, our handrails are manufactured from industrial stainless steel with brushed untreated finish, with diameter 42 mm. We also offer a wide range of wooden handrails, with diameter 50 mm. A wooden handrail is primarily used as an extra handrail. We can also equip our spiral staircases with inner handrails.
Weland spiral staircases can be equipped with one or more extra handrails. They can be set at any height, but usually, one is placed at a height of 900 mm. An extra handrail helps to increase the safety of the staircase. It can also be extended by 300 mm at the start and finish of the spiral staircase.
Weland's stair treads are usually manufactured in grating or durbar plate in a hot dip galvanised finish, but they can also be manufactured in many different finishes. The choice is based on the staircase's placing as well as taste and personal preferences. Please contact us for more information about different mesh widths and alternative finishes.
Weland's step-off landings and intermediate landings are designed as square 90˚ landings with a radius or as a final step as standard. Different designs are made according to the customer’s needs. The square landing can also be extended to a platform/balcony.
Our spiral staircases for outdoor use are hot dip galvanised as standard. In our own plant, the spiral staircases are surface treated to withstand great stress. The method provides a very robust protection against corrosion. We also have modern painting shops at our disposal and can deliver spiral staircases for all environments in most colours. For more information, please visit our page for surface treatment.
To increase the safety and accessibility in the staircase, we offer a number of extra accessories to simplify these aspects.
